May I find His joy even in my sorrow and His life in my death. To God be the glory!

Preparing for Easter

We decided to get started on the Resurrection story eggs today. Even though there are only 12 eggs we figured we would just repeat the stories until Easter Sunday.
We started with the first egg and then it seemed a better idea to do two stories at a sitting so each girl could open an egg.
We also enjoyed reading our one and only Easter book.

Rest and Relaxation

Margaret and I left on Monday for Brazzaville and after a taxing bus ride, we arrived at the old mission guest house Hotel Bravo. This is the halfway house for missionaries coming and going and it provided us with a wonderful two days of rest and relaxation. We normally don't stay here because of cost but Margaret was willing to pay for the nicer place.
Aravis struggled to sleep, but besides that, she was an amazingly good baby during all the comings and goings.
Margaret and I enjoyed warm showers, fans, internet, nice food and spacious beds. We went shopping and visited the little "zoo" which was a short walk away.
We also went back to La Mandarine (can't stay away!) and had great food and real icecream.
Matthew, Mary and the Harveys arrived back from PN while we were there and they offered to take us to the airport for Margaret's drop off.
Then they waited with me until my ride came, and I went to my sister in law's house for the last night and just barely got a seat on a bus early the next morning. Orcxance and the girls came to meet me! It's so good to be home.

Church

Today Aravis was dedicated at church and Margaret said goodbye. We served people snacks after the service to celebrate her time here.
We have enjoyed our time so much with Margaret!!! I will probably write another post with more details later on.
