May I find His joy even in my sorrow and His life in my death. To God be the glory!

Pointe Noire

We had a wonderful vacation in Pointe Noire. Despite battling some sickness it was a restful time and Eileen slept better than she has in months. It was a blessing to be hosted by the Bills and they made our stay so comfortable.
We got lots of photos so here’s another round of our day at the beach. Mama Teresa drove us to a nice beach up the coast and we had a picnic lunch and went swimming, looked for shells and played in the sand.
Along the way to the beach we passed the old dirt road that was used for transporting slaves to the coast. We didn't have time to go out to the memorial there but it was a sobering moment seeing that road with our own eyes.
Orcxance enjoyed swimming in the ocean for the first time and we had boogie boards and a frisbee to enhance the beach experience.
