May I find His joy even in my sorrow and His life in my death. To God be the glory!

Unto you a child is born!

It was a beautiful thing to deliver Enoch into the world so close to our celebration of Jesus coming to be with us.
Looking back at some pictures of Enoch's birth, this Christmas song came to mind:
Tears are falling, hearts are breaking How we need to hear from God You've been promised, we've been waiting Welcome Holy Child Hope that You don't mind our manger How I wish we could have known But long-awaited Holy Stranger Make Yourself at home Please make Yourself at home Bring Your peace into our violence Bid our hungry souls be filled Word now breaking Heaven's silence Welcome to our world
Fragile finger sent to heal us Tender brow prepared for thorn Tiny heart whose blood will save us Unto us is born
So wrap our injured flesh around You Breathe our air and walk our sod Rob our sins and make us holy Perfect Son of God Welcome to our world

Baby boy coming soon!

We’re excited about getting to meet baby brother! Counting down to his birth and counting down to Christmas! How amazing to experience pregnancy and birth at Christmas time. It has probably been my most uncomfortable/painful pregnancy so far, but I have taken some moments to think about how Mary might have felt during her journey to Bethlehem, and how that was certainly a painful time.
This season is also one of my favorite times of the year, and welcoming a new member of our family makes it even more special. If you think of us, pray for peace and joy during the beautiful Christmas season and the season of growing our family once again.
My wonderful family put on a baby shower for me to celebrate baby boy. You can access our registry here: www.myregistry.com/giftlist/first-boy
